Announcement: 2021-2022 Board of Directors Elected

Based on term limits, the Semper Fi Community Task Force Board of Directors recently voted on our 2021-2022 Executive Board positions.

Congratulations to our new Chairman, Steve Mozian, and new Vice-Chairman, Willie Simmons. Additionally, Beth Hoffman will continue as Treasurer and Mike Dahl as Secretary.

We would like to take a moment to publicly thank Dave Bonwit for his many years of dedicated service to the Task Force, especially as the Chairman of Heroes’ Week and most recently as the Chairman of the Board. The Task Force has continued to grow and gain recognition under Dave’s chairmanship, including recognition by the White House last year with the esteemed honor of receiving the 2020 President’s Volunteer Service Award. We are further thankful that Dave will continue to share his experience, time, and talent, serving within the Task Force.

During the Semper Fi Community Task Force Annual Meeting in June, other new members of the general Board were elected by the members in attendance.

Our new program and administrative leads are:

EuGene Roberts, Outdoor Adventures

Sheren Roberts, Membership

Barry Anderson, Volunteer Coordinator

Louis Kubik, Strategic Planning
