Dear Potential Sponsor,
The Semper Fi Community Task Force serves our veterans, military families, and community as an all-Service, all-volunteer organization with no National affiliation, through one-of-a-kind programs. The Task Force fulfills a wide-ranging mission that affords healing and learning opportunities for Wounded Veterans and their families, as well as our Gold Star Families, especially the children of Fallen Service Members.
These opportunities provide vital emotional support that results in positive, often life-changing, experiences for each person touched by the Task Force. Mission success always results from Task Force volunteers’ fidelity to the core values of courage, honor, and commitment, practiced during their own military service.
The Task Force proudly applies over 90% of all funds received in direct support of these veterans and family members through Heroes’ Week, Heroes’ Outdoor Adventures, Semper Fi Racing, Youth Engagement, and Veterans Outreach.
A Salute to Service: Honoring Our Heroes provides a new conduit for local businesses, like your own, to hear our Heroes’ stories and support future opportunities for them and their families.
I am asking for your continued support in this mission to heal and honor our heroes by becoming a sponsor of our 2019 A Salute to Service: Honoring Our Heroes event. If you have not previously sponsored the Semper Fi Community Task Force, I can assure you the return on your investment in the future of our Heroes is beyond measure.
I invite you to be a part of this patriotic event and participate as a sponsor. Included with this letter is the sponsorship proposal, outlining various opportunities for you to get involved with the Semper Fi Community Task Force through A Salute to Service: Honoring Our Heroes. I hope you will join us on March 7, 2019, to celebrate these special Service Members and their families.
Semper Fi Community Task Force
The Semper Fi Community Task Force was established by a small group of Marines

We apply the core values of honor, courage, and commitment, through
volunteering our time, talents, and resources, in support of this mission.

Heroes Week – The Semper Fi Community Task Force hosts 50 – 60 wounded and injured veterans with their caregivers each year, giving them the Welcome Home they may not have received due to hospitalizations and rehabilitation. During this all-expense-paid week in Northern Alabama, filled with activities and events, our Tennessee Valley and Northern Alabama communities show their deep appreciation for these service members.
Heroes’ Outdoor Adventures – The Semper Fi Community Task Force honors the patriotism and sacrifice of our Country’s wounded and injured Veterans, and many times their families, by providing quality hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities while raising awareness about the therapeutic effects outdoor activities have on the mental and physical disabilities of our Country’s wounded men and women.
Semper Fi Racing – The Semper Fi Community Task Force partners with volunteers from the Huntsville Quarter Midget Association and generous sponsors to offer this unique opportunity for children of Gold Star families to participate in the sport of Quarter Midget Racing. Semper Fi Racing exposes these children to principles of engineering and physics, while they participate in a fun sport that builds self-confidence, sharpens their awareness, and hones their motor skills.
